Our Moonchild ring represents an awesome piece of jewellery from our Mysterium collection. The ring possesses a round plaque as bonnet. The plaque consists of a big halfmoon, that encloses another smaller circle which in turn consists of the well-known pentagram sign. The pentagram symbol is depicted by a five-pointed star which emerges from extended lines of the edges of a pentagon. In antiquity the symbol was associated with life and healthiness. During and after the Middle Ages, the symbol was used as defense sign against demons. Similarly, the energy of the decreasing moon is often used for bans. In total, both the half moon and the pentagram symbol visually add up to a full moon. And the power of the full moon is as well often used for protection purposes.
