During the tattooing process, care must be taken to ensure that the pigments are not washed out, heavy bleeding must be avoided and the leakage of clear wound fluid must be minimized. This is responsible for the removal of foreign bodies from the fresh wound. This is also the main aim of tattoo aftercare during the healing phase to prevent thick crusts and protect the skin from the penetration of bacteria and microbes. 

Because not all wound and healing ointments fulfill exactly this purpose, we recommend only using products that have been specially developed for tattoos and their healing.

Frankincense is said to have a disinfectant, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Coconut has a cooling, calming effect and is said to have an antimicrobial effect. Vitamin E is also used in anti-ageing ointments, as this vitamin has a cell-regenerating effect. Shea butter regulates the skin’s moisture balance in a natural way and also has a moisturizing and soothing effect. Plant oils and fats are also very rich in nutrients.
